phade Yankees Time Square Animation

Our client phade® makes of the popular blue straw you may have seen out and about at coffee shops, restaurants and bars. The straw is not only aesthetically pleasing but also environmentally friendly, biodegrading in about 60 days.

The straws were going to start being at the Yankee stadium and we got to work. We secured multiple media placements in Times Square – specifically the Bird and the Trio. Both have multiple boards around one another. So we thought yeah why not? Let’s make this thing be a continuous animation all around the boards.

The Process

We began by storyboarding out the entire animation keeping in mind time limitations and how it would cycle through. Approved 🎉 Now it was time to take it all into AfterEffects. Oh and we also did the in-stadium graphics💪
